Ruturaj Gaikwad vs Shiva Singh has done what no other player could do till now. Ruturaj from Maharashtra domestic team hit 7 consecutive sixes in an over against Uttar Pradesh team in the quarter-finals of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022. He hit a six on a no ball, while a total of 43 runs were scored from the over. Along with this, he also completed a double century in this match. He did this in the over of Shiva Singh, who was doing the 49th over of the innings.
He remained unbeaten on 220 off 159 balls hitting 10 fours and 16 sixes as his team posted a mammoth total of 330 in 50 overs. In the T20 World Cup 2007, Yuvraj Singh hit England's Stuart Broad for six sixes in one over, while former India coach Ravi Shastri did this in domestic cricket before him.
