To ensure peace and avoid any disruption of public order, the Mumbai Police on Friday announced curfew in the city till January 2. During this period, five or more people cannot gather at one place in the entire city.
There is also a ban on any kind of demonstration, sloganeering and demonstration in public places during the curfew. The weapons ban has also been implemented in the maximum city from December 4 to January 2.
In a press release, Deputy Commissioner of Mission Department of Mumbai Police Vishal Thakur said that till January 2, any kind of gathering, procession, demonstration, playing loudspeaker etc. will be banned in the city.
