South's superstar Vijay Devarakonda was questioned by ED for 9 hours on Wednesday. Deverakonda reached the ED office at around 8 am. He was questioned by the investigating officials regarding foreign funding in the film Liger. After coming out of the ED office, Vijay said that popularity has some side effects and problems too. When I was called for questioning by the agency, I did my duty.

Earlier on November 17, the liger was produced by Charmi Kaur and directed by Puri Jagannadh. They have also been questioned for violation of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). Deverakonda made his Bollywood debut through the film Liger. It was a remake of the Tamil film. The budget of the film Liger made in Hindi is said to be around Rs 100 crore.
