Vijay Hazare Trophy : Final Match between Maharashtra vs Saurashtra

In the final of the Vijay Hazare National One Day Tournament, Maharashtra and Saurashtra teams faced each other on Friday and the Saurashtra team won the toss and decided to bowl first. Maharashtra, who have entered the final for the first time, are in the hunt for their first trophy, while Saurashtra, who are in the final for the 3rd time, are looking to win the title for the first time since 2007-08.

A competition is expected between the strong bowling force of Saurashtra and the explosive batters of Maharashtra. Rituraj Gaikwad has scored 552 runs in just 4 matches. Ankit Bawne scored 571 runs in 8 matches. Saurashtra captain Jaydev Unadkat has taken 18 wickets, Prerak Mankad, Dhamendra Jadeja, Chirag Jani are also in good form. The team's batting line-up is heavily dependent on Samarth Vyas, Arpit Vasavda, Jay Gohil.
